U.S. President, Donald Trump expressed: ‘Don’t want to wait for 3 months and then find out ballots were missing’
President Donald Trump stated that he did not want to change the US election date but even didn’t want to witness a dishonest election.
On Thursday, President Trump stated that he doesn’t want to postpone the November election but voiced concerns about ‘mail-in voting.’
“I don’t want a delay, I want to have the election. But I also don’t want to have to wait for three months and then find out that the ballots were all missing an election doesn’t mean anything,” told President Trump at a press conference.
“Do I want to see a date change? No. But I don’t want to see a crooked election. This election will be the most rigged election in history if that happens,” Trump was cited as told by The Hill, considering the extensive mail-in voting.
Trump had previously mentioned in a tweet: “With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely, and safely vote???”
Talking about the COVID-19 pandemic, Trump stated that this could have been ceased in China.
“We can never ever forget the people whom we have lost. We will never forget what happened. This could have been stopped in China, they should have stopped it and they didn’t,” Trump added.
US President Trump stated that the scientific path ahead is to safeguard those at the maximum risk while permitting those at minimum risk to cautiously get back to work and to school by taking proper precautions.
Whilst voicing grief over the death of Herman Cain, Trump stated: “Let me begin by expressing sadness at the passing of a wonderful man and a dear friend of mine, Herman Cain. He was a very special person. Unfortunately, he passed away from the thing called the ‘China virus’.”
