Real Madrid beats Barcelona in Clasico over a Sloppy Fight
Real Madrid scored a huge triumph over Barcelona in the Classic at 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabéu. With the help of Mariano Díaz and Gerard Piqué, Vinicius Júnior were the real heroes of the goals of this match. With this result, the position of Meringues has topped in La Liga.
It was a tactical duel in the first part. Barcelona settled for a 4-4-2, tactical drawing where Vidal and De Jong acted for the midfield bands, but with a drift to close to set free for the sides, Semedo and Alb, in each attack.
Real Madrid had good trigonometry in the first few minutes and, it could find real spaces to utilize some against, especially with Vinicius by the left band, who at the time of the starting, has not made good decisions.
Beyond this, Barça had the most obvious changes, particularly after 15 minutes. The clearest was a good combination between Griezmann, Messi and Jordi Alba, which ended with the high French finish.
Then, in the next 34 minutes, a progress that seemed inconsequential after Griezmann’s pass, allowed Arthur to have a clear path to be hand in hand against Courtois. The Belgian won the duel and sent his definition to the corner.
Messi had it just a few moments later, which won back of Marcelo and Sergio Ramos after a pass from Busquets, to have a pike shot, which Courtois responded quickly.
The very good first part where Barça, maybe, needed better luck, but in which Courtois was a great person. The meringues had begun well, but they shifted blurred before the domain of the Culés.
Heros of the Real Madrid – Vinicius and Mariano
The second half was a different story. With Real Madrid cutting through the midfield the exit of Barcelona, creating so many problems. First, Isco with a shot that got into the angle, but Ter Stegen made an impossible save. Then, the Malaga again had another with a header, which Piqué took on the line.
Barcelona felt the blow of the goal of Vinicius. Inside Rakitic and Ansu Fati to try to change history and return to the most classic 4-3-3 of the Catalans. However, Real Madrid defined him on the final with a goal from Mariano Díaz – he had started Benzema seconds ago for the final 2-0.
