PSN down: PS4 servers status latest as PlayStation Network is hit by parties outrage
With the reports showing up of an outrage impacting the PlayStation Network on PS4 consoles, PSN servers are noticed to be down.
Reports are getting in from players tonight stating that PSN servers are down for PS4 players.
The cause of this problem is not clear but it’s known that almost all the internet services are facing additional pressure.
As of now, the official PlayStation Network server support page has been updated with the following details: “You may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.”
The latest update from Sony states: “You may experience somewhat slower or delayed game downloads because we’re working with ISPs to manage download traffic. We believe it’s important to do our part to address internet stability concerns as an unprecedented number of people are staying home and practicing social distancing. We appreciate the support and understanding from our community.”
Few PS4 players were able to play tonight, but they are facing problems with Parties not operating properly. This even includes the players being unable to chat together while playing online.
One PSN user notes, “It says I’m appearing offline and I’m online and I can’t even join or make parties.”
