‘Time to break up Amazon’ says Elon Musk, thus intensifying squabble with Jeff Bezos
Elon Musk tagged Jeff Bezos, the world’s richest man and tweeted ‘Monopolies are wrong,’ This internet-based retailer is amongst tech companies which are being examined by lawmakers and federal regulatory authorities for their growing size and range of business.
On Thursday, Elon Musk, Chief Executive Officer of Tesla Inc. tweeted saying its “time to break up Amazon” further intensifying the conflict with Amazon.com Inc.
CEO Jeff Bezos, a billionaire who invested in space research. Musk tagged Bezos and tweeted “Monopolies are wrong,”
Musk’s tweet came as a reply to a writer’s tweet who mentioned that his book “Unreported Truths About COVID-19 and The Lockdown” was eliminated from Amazon’s Kindle publishing department for breaching undefined guidelines.
With beyond 35 million followers, Musk is a prolific tweeter. He has also been condemned for his posts on numerous topics spanning from the virus outburst to Tesla stock.
Amazon didn’t promptly react to the demand for comment.
Amazon is one of the web-based retailers whose tech company is being investigated by the lawmakers and federal supervisory authorities in order to inspect their growing size and the range of business.
