Arun Srinivas Appointed as Head of Global Business Group at Facebook India

Arun Srinivas will lead the command to shape the role Facebook’s applications can play in empowering businesses, supporting India’s economic recovery and that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

On Monday, Facebook declared that it has named Arun Srinivas as the Director of Global Business Group. He will lead the strategy and delivery of the India Marketing Solutions charter that centers around enormous agencies and advertisers. 

Srinivas will initiate Facebook’s strategic relationship with India’s leading brands, organizations, and partners to drive the organization’s revenue development in key channels, and partner the media and imaginative biological systems for quickening the selection of digital tools by the companies.

Facebook’s key business vertical groups, agency teams, and business solutions teams will report to him.

Sandeep Bhushan, Director and Head of Global Marketing Solutions, Facebook India, said, “I am thrilled to welcome Arun as he joins our team as Director GBG, and leads the mandate to shape the role the Facebook family apps can play in enabling businesses, supporting India’s economic recovery, and building the digital advertising ecosystem of the country.”

With more than 24 years of experience, Srinivas has worked in verticals like senior sales, marketing roles at companies, for example, Ola, Unilever, and Reebok. He joins Facebook from Ola, where he filled in as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), and global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Ola Mobility. 

Already, he was at investment firm WestBridge Capital Partners, where he drove the consumer vertical. Srinivas is a former student of the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata. 

Facebook is likewise working with the government, non-profit, and other industry partners to help people and businesses explore the current health and financial emergency.
