A New Possibility of Coronavirus in Oregon and California Raises Eyebrows
Northern California and Oregon are experiencing two new and unknown cases of Coronavirus and health officers are getting in contact with the people who are exposed to the infections. Experts in healthcare have warned that cases could be a possible spread of the virus in the United States.
Health officials in Oregon say they have recognized a school employee from the Portland area who may have affected by the virus for more than a week. The patient, who travelled back from China has symptoms since 19th Feb and may have spread amongst the staff and students.
It is likely predicted by the health experts that coronavirus may already be travelling locally in the United States.
Earlier this week, a woman was diagnosed with a virus with no possible symptoms, so health experts are confused about the pattern of how coronavirus is travelling right now throughout the states.
A tip circulated in public on Thursday (30th February) stated that federal health officials are finding more about the bases without proper gear or training which is not actually safe.
One person in California is serious
From Solano County, California, a woman wasn’t tested for many days after she was admitted. She seems to be in a serious condition according to John Garamendi, California Rep. Her case has confused the health officials who are not able to decide whether she is infected by the virus or not.
“This does appear to be a person who genuinely did acquire their illness in the community,” says Public Health Office from Solano County, Dr Bela Matyas in a news conference held on 30th February 2020.
She was moved to UC Davis from a local Californian hospital on 29th February. Both hospitals did not carry our tests as they found that she doesn’t fit in the criteria of the infections.
Around 84,000 people from 56 different countries are infected out of which 2,900 are already dead.
